The Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago is seeking candidates for a Manager of Prevention Programming and a REACH Outreach Health Educator.
The Manager, Prevention Programming position will be responsible for managing The Potocsnak Family Division of Adolescent and Young Adult Medicine’s HIV and substance use prevention programs, including the CDPH HIV Population Centered Health Homes (PCHH) grant and three-year SAMSHA funded project REACH (Reaching Every Adolescent in Chicago through Harm Reduction).
The REACH Outreach Health Educator position will provide outreach services and health education on behalf of the Division of Adolescent Medicine and the Community Program and Initiatives team. This position will be responsible for conducting educational programming related to substance risk screenings and distribution of clean supplies in the community and at Adolescent Medicine offices, in support of state and federal grant initiatives. The Outreach Health Educator will also become familiar with substance use education and other issues impacting adolescents and young adults (including HIV/STI) to provide education to youth in the community.
