The CFAR congratulates Chad Achenbach and Mary Clare Masters, who presented oral abstracts
at the 10th International Workshop on HIV & Aging in New York. Their studies demonstrate the
Third Coast CFAR’s strength in research on non-AIDS comorbidities and accelerated aging.
Mary Clare Masters worked with her mentor, Frank Palella, to complete her study, utilizing data
from the MACS/WIHS Combined Cohort Study (MWCCS).
