The LGBT Community Fund, a division of the Chicago Community Trust, has selected PrEPLine to receive a Transformational Grant in the latest round of funding. AIDS Foundation of Chicago and the University of Chicago, each a part of the Third Coast CFAR, developed PrEPLine in 2015 as an innovative resource that connects LGBT communities on the city’s south and west sides to HIV prevention services. Dr. John Schneider, Director of the Third Coast CFAR’s Developmental Core and Director of the Chicago Center for HIV Elimination, praised the decision. “This funding will support training and resources for key staff members and will expand the scope of the project so additional at-risk communities may benefit from this unique collaboration.”
