The Johns Hopkins University CFAR announces request for applications for the CFAR Africure program, which will award five grants of $200,000 for HIV cure research.

Mohamed Abdel-Mohsen, PhD, is an associate professor of Medicine (Infectious Diseases) at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. His research focuses on understanding how the host immune system responds to HIV infection.

The Center for Innovative Point of Care Diagnostics in HIV/AIDS and Emerging Infectious Diseases at Northwestern University (C-THAN) multidisciplinary grant is led by contact principal investigator Chad Achenbach, MD, MPH.
