A discussion of barriers to HIV prevention and care for the LGBTQ community broadly, ranging from geospatial barriers to testing and care, to disparities in the continuum of care and the lack of culturally-competent health care providers or training. Queer communities face very real challenges to gaining much needed information and interventions that can help prevent HIV infection as well as access to care for those who become HIV+. This chat is a chance for dialogue exploring why these barriers exist and how we can work together to change these realities and improve prevention and care for all.
