Drs. John Schneider and Hossein Ardehali, Co-Directors of the Third Coast HIV-related Cardiovascular and Sleep Disorders K12 Career Development Program (TC-CS K12), are pleased to announce a new funding opportunity for faculty-level investigators interested in HIV-related comorbidities in cardiovascular and sleep disorders. The NHLBI K12 Scholar Awards provide substantial salary support (up to $85,000 plus fringe) for investigators near the beginning of their careers. Applications are for funding in 2020, with appointments beginning as early as July 1, 2020. Appointments are for two years. Eligible candidates must hold a doctoral degree and must have a faculty-level appointment during the period of support at the University of Chicago or Northwestern University.
